Soft Tissue Grafting
Gum recession is the process in which soft tissue surrounding a tooth recedes, causing exposure of the root. This condition is quite common and can be easily repaired by our highly experienced periodontist, Ian Turner, DDS. If your dentist has suggested gum grafting to you, please speak to us; there are many modern, less invasive, and successful techniques that we can discuss with you.
It is not uncommon for adults to lose a tooth or several teeth despite years of good dental care. This can cause issues with both eating and self-confidence.
We will spend the time with you presenting clearly, the information you need to make informed decisions before gently guiding you through the dental implant process. Dental implant placement, when performed by an experienced specialist, is one of the most predictable procedures in dentistry today. Dr. Turner has placed several thousand implants for over 25 years and provides his patients with some of the most successful techniques in implant surgery.
Advanced Specialized Gum Treatment
If your gums have become inflamed or damaged because of excess plaque and bacteria, we provide a variety of options for restoration. We are very conservative in our treatment approach, only suggesting surgery when absolutely necessary. Osseous surgery is the preferred treatment for those with more advanced gum disease, but this procedure is a simple, in-depth cleaning, requiring only local anesthesia.
